Clitheroe Mosque is currently one of the very few places of worship for Muslims in the Ribble Valley.
Since opening, many schools, youth groups & adult groups have contacted the Mosque in order to pay a visit and as a result have come over and taken part in a range of workshops where they have learnt more about Islam. The workshops have included observing the Friday prayer, watching a demonstration of ablution (the wash before prayer), learning a lesson on a topic of choice, Q&A and much more. We would like to make this available to everyone interested in learning more.
As well as opening our doors to Mosque visits, we also offer a service of site visits for schools, community center’s etc. A member of staff will visit your site to talk about a topic of your choice.

The purpose of this visit would be to deepen ones understanding and broaden their knowledge on this faith just like other faiths.
